Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much will it cost to deliver my boat?
A: Delivery costs depend on your vessel type, route distance, season, and logistics. Contact us today for a personalized, clear estimate tailored to your exact journey.
Q: What experience does the crew have?
A: Every transit is commanded by a fully USCG-licensed Captain holding our elite foundational credentials—including 28 years of military discipline and a global circumnavigation. While we occasionally bring on qualified mates or deckhands to assist, they operate under the strict command and constant supervision of our Captains. This leadership guarantees expert seamanship and safety at all times.
Q: What if I have specific requests or unique requirements?
A: We specialize in custom delivery solutions. Share your scheduling constraints, communication preferences, or unique vessel requirements during our consultation so we can build them into our passage plan.
Q: Who pays for trip expenses like fuel, dockage, and crew provisions?
A: The vessel owner covers all direct voyage expenses (fuel, dockage, crew transportation and provisions). We provide upfront estimates and reconcile all costs with clear receipts at final handover.
Q: What insurance coverage is required?
A: Your vessel must carry active hull and P&I insurance; the delivery Captain will need to be added as a named operator for the duration of the transit.
Q: How do you handle unexpected mechanical issues or weather delays?
A: Safety is our priority. If issues or severe weather arise, our captain will secure your yacht at the nearest safe port. We coordinate directly with you before authorizing any major repairs or routing changes.
